PARK HISTORY
Maitland Henry Neighborhood Park was first dedicated in 1972 when the park and the surrounding neighborhood were developed. It underwent renovations in 1990 and 2003. Named after Maitland Henry, who was a prominent figure in Livermore, the park is owned by the city and maintained by LARPD. The park's namesake operated the Livermore Herald (later the Tri-Valley Herald) Weekly Newspaper for 44 years.
This 4.6 acre neighborhood park includes a tot lot, small sports fields, barbecue pits and picnic tables.
