Livermore Ballet School

April Wagner received her training with Contra Costa Ballet. She received scholarships to Joffrey Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Pennsylvania Ballet, among others. She spent three consecutive summers with the School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center in NYC and has taught ballet for 19 years.  

To participate in Nutcracker in December, all students must enroll for class beginning in August through the December Session.

Wee Hoops - Dribblers

Help your child experience the sheer joy of throwing and making baskets in this parent-participation class. It combines the thrill of basketball with other activities such as catching bubbles, parachute games, and singing. The class focuses on developing gross motor skills.

• Participants are required to have a size 3 ball. Balls can be purchased for $8 at the first class.
• Parent participation is required.

Wee Hoops – Jump Shooters 

Wee Hoops Staff

Children will develop physical skills such as balancing on one foot and hopping. The class introduces basketball skills based on increased coordination. At this level, parents are encouraged to take a supportive role with lots of high-fives and praise from the sideline.

Pee Wee Explorers: Art & Science Adventures!

Are you looking for an enrichment activity that keeps your kids engaged and moving? Join us for our Pee Wee Explorers class! Coach Carlie and our LARPD Staff will be leading a 4-week session of the class, which includes artistic creations, building with LEGOs, and science experiments! This class is a great opportunity for children to learn about art and science, make friends, and practice their fine motor skills. Learn to Skate USA – Snowplow Sam 1

Learn to Skate Snowplow Sam 1  introduces young beginners to ice skating fundamentals in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. Tailored for children, Snowplow Sam 1 focuses on building confidence while mastering basic skills such as standing up correctly, forward skating, and more.

Pee Wee Kids Night Out

Hey Parents, are you looking for a night out to see a movie, catch up with friends, or have dinner out? Does your little one want to enjoy big kid activities? Look no further. We’ll provide your child with a fun night of age-appropriate board games, camp games, and silly activities here at LARPD! Best of all, pizza dinner is  included!

• Pick up at your convenience between 8:30 pm-9 pm.
• Participants must be able to use the restroom independently.

Kidz Love Soccer - Mommy/Daddy & Me

 The fun happens on the field, so don’t just watch from the sidelines! Here is your chance to join in your toddler’s introduction to the world’s most popular sport. You’ll engage in fun, age-appropriate activities and help your child to develop their motor and socialization skills. A variety of soccer activities are played each week.

Kidz Love Soccer - Tot/Pre-Soccer

Little tykes will love running and kicking, just like the big kids! Children will have fun and learn the basic techniques of the game while building self-esteem. Children will learn to follow instructions in a nurturing, age-appropriate environment. 

• All participants receive a Kidz Love Soccer jersey.
• Shin guards are not provided; participants must bring them after the first meeting. 

Tiny Tots Tennis

This class is designed to excite and engage younger tennis players! It focuses on introductory strokes and hand-eye coordination drills using a variety of games and drills. This class uses RED-colored balls.

• All beginner players aged 4-5 are to START at this level.
• Graduation to the next level class (Tiny Rockets) is by instructor approval only.
• Must bring your own tennis racket, size 23 inches suggested.
• Classes are held at The Club at Livermore (2000 Arroyo Rd) OR Robert Livermore Community Center (RLCC, 4444 East Avenue). Club membership is not required to register.
