LARPD Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan Update

The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD) is issuing this Request for Proposals seeking to hire a qualified firm to conduct and update LARPD’s Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan. 

The consultant will collect and analyze data to update the 2016 Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan to establish a clear set of goals, policies, standards, and recommendations for the District’s existing and future community parks, neighborhood parks, special use facilities, and recreational programming over the next ten years.

ANSWERS TO SUBMITTED QUESTIONS WILL BE POSTED BELOW
Is hand delivery of the proposal package to the address listed acceptable? 

Yes, a hand delivered proposal, labeled as described in the RFP, delivered to my attention at the front desk at the Robert Livermore Community Center, 4444 East Avenue, Livermore CA prior to the deadline is acceptable.

In regards to the disclosures for contract failures, litigation, and investigations, can this be provided as relevant for California offices of our firm? 

Yes.  Please provide information relative to all California offices of your firm as well as any other offices that may work on the proposed project.

Do you have a budget or a budget range identified for the project and what is the funding source? 

The budget for this project is $350,000 funded from property taxes.

Wanted to clarify if the 2016 Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan was adopted by the City? 

No. It was adopted by the LARPD Board of Directors. 

Can a digital copy of the 2016 Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan be provided? 

Yes.

Does LARPD have a list of specific parks and facilities to be assessed as part of this Master Plan Update? If not, do you anticipate us assessing all parks and facilities from the online LARPD Parks and Facilities Maps? 

We expect all of our facilities to be evaluated.

Can the buildings to be assessed as part of this proposal clarified in a little more detail? The RFP lists 57 facilities, including pre-schools. Should they be included in the master plan update as well? 

All LARPD facilities, including those located on City or School District properties should be evaluated.

Is there a digital copy of the 2016 Parks, Recreation, and Trails Master Plan available for review?
