Sycamore Science Camp: Little Scientists (Winter/Spring)

Sycamore Science Camp is an education-based science program designed to engage your child, foster an appreciation for nature, and have FUN!

  • Please meet at the Ranger Station Picnic Area (5035 Arroyo Rd).
  • If you have any questions, please call the Ranger Station at 925-960-2400.  
  • Camps run for 4 consecutive weeks.  Themes change for each camp.

Sycamore Science Camp: Little Scientists (ages 4-5)

Session I: Weather & Climate

Learn all about weather and climate alongside your little ones. From the water cycle to different cloud types and climate change, we'll cover it all.

Session II: Culture, History & Cryptids 

Little Scientists will turn into little historians as we learn about different cultures around the world and their mythology. Travel through time with us to learn about ancient Egypt, legends of the water, historic European folklore, and cryptids of America / Turtle Island.

Session III: Plentiful Plant Life

Explore the plentiful world of plants! Vegetation provides food, shelter, medicine, and even the air we breathe. Learn all about how people, animals, and plants interact.
