Biodiversity Day at Sycamore Grove

Sunglasses with nature motifs, "California Biodiversity Day," a butterfly, and decorative flora. Text: "Discover the Nature of California."

Each year, throughout the week of September 7th, we celebrate and steward our state’s unique biodiversity. California Biodiversity Day is a time to celebrate the incredible biodiversity that exists throughout our state while also learning about ways to be involved and actions we can take to conserve and steward the nature that sustains us.

Want to help? Join Naturalist Candace and Tri-Valley Conservancy to document what lives in Sycamore Grove Park.

Participants will be encouraged to use Seek and iNaturalist apps, free to download to your smart device.
