California Native Oak Day Celebration

Celebrate California Native Oak Day with Naturalist Candace and a guided oak tree hike starting at the Ranger Station Picnic Area at 5035 Arroyo Rd. Oak Hike Bingo cards will be provided for each participant and prizes handed out for completed a bingo cards.
Expect a moderate level of difficulty as we hike up an incline on Patterson Ranch Trail for the first half of the hike (the beginning portion of the trail), followed by a decline on the way back.
Pack a snack, lunch, water, and anything else you might need for exploring the oak woodland savannah at Sycamore Grove Park.
The hike will happen rain or shine, but will be cancelled if weather conditions are deemed dangerous. If the hike is cancelled, an oak tree-related craft, cooking with acorns, stories, and other games/activities will be offered.
