FY25-26 Appropriations Limit

The California State Constitution sets limits on the amount of tax revenues that local governments can appropriate in a given fiscal year. Each year, the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District adopts a resolution establishing its appropriations limit. This action is currently scheduled for the Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

Due to the required 15-day public notification process, the supporting documentation regarding LARPD’s appropriations limit is now available for public review and may be obtained by emailing jdreher@larpd.org.

Unclaimed Funds

Unclaimed Funds Being Held by Livermore Area Recreation and Park District

 Government Code Section 50050 et. Seq. provides that unclaimed monies which remain in the treasury or in the official custody of the officers of a local agency for three (3) years become the property of the agency. At the end of the three-year period, those individual items valued at $15.00 or greater must be published as notification that the money will become the property of the agency after a designated forty-five to sixty days after the date of first publication. Notice is hereby given that the funds listed below are in the District’s possession and escheatment to Livermore Area Recreation and Park District’s general fund will occur if a verified claim is not filed on or before June 27, 2025, notice is hereby given. Funds can be claimed by emailing jdreher@larpd.org and providing proof of identification.
