PARK HISTORY

Neptune Park was donated to the community in 1972 by Sunset Development. In 1983, Homestate Savings and Loan donated the remaining acres. In 1985, a plan was co-ventured by the Williams family and the District, including a special memorial site named after Jack Williams. In 1988, the park was renamed Jack Williams Park. It features a playground, family picnic and barbecue area, and tennis/pickleball combo courts. The playground was updated in May 2024, and the courts were resurfaced in 2002.
