Join us for a family-focused long weekend at LARPD’s Camp Shelly in South Lake Tahoe!

Whether you’re a Camp Shelly regular or looking to get into camping, this program is for you. Meet other like-minded families at our daily activities like morning wildflower walks and afternoon crafts and games. Gather after dinner for some campfire stories or a guided night hike. Learn the basics of camping, how to be safe around bears, and make some new camping friends this summer! 

The campground will be closed to the public during these camps and reserved for program participants only.

  • Campers supply their own camping equipment, transportation, and food. 
  • Prices are per person, age 3 and under are free. 
  • Families and groups will be registered together.
  • All participants need an ActiveNet account. 

Registration opens on 4/1.
