PARK HISTORY

This was the first land LARPD bought in 1959 and was named Sunken Gardens at the time. The skate park opened in 2001.

This 8.9-acre facility includes picnic tables, bicycle stunt course, skate park, hiking/bicycle trails, and is used for District programs.

Pump Track: Opened June 17, 2026, the Sunken Gardens Pump Track features a continuous loop of rollers, berms, and turns designed for riders of all skill levels using bikes, scooters, skateboards, and other wheeled equipment. Motorized bikes, scooters, and other motorized equipment are not permitted on the track
