PARK HISTORY

This park opened in 1986 and was named after Marion William "Tex" Spriuell, who served on the LARPD Board of Directors from 1958-1968.  For many years he sponsored a Park and Recreation undergaduate college scholarship.

This 9.9-acre neighborhood park includes a tot lot, picnic tables and basketball courts.
