On February 12, 2025, the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD) Board of Directors will consider the final adoption of Ordinance No. 10, an Ordinance Repealing (a) Ordinance No. 1, an Ordinance of the LARPD Establishing a Personnel System, (b) Ordinance No. 2, an Ordinance of the LARPD Amending and Revising the Personnel System Established by Ordinance No. 1, and (c) Ordinance No. 4, an Ordinance of the LARPD Amending and Revising the Personnel System Established by Ordinance No. 2.

The LARPD Board of Directors’ February 12, 2025, regular meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. and will be held at 4444 East Avenue, Livermore, California. The meeting agenda and agenda materials for the upcoming meeting are available on the LARPD website www.larpd.org.

ORDINANCE NO. 10

ORDINANCE REPEALING (A) ORDINANCE NO. 1, AN ORDINANCE OF THE LIVERMORE AREA RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT ESTABLISHING A PERSONNEL SYSTEM, (B) ORDINANCE NO. 2, AN ORDINANCE OF THE LIVERMORE AREA RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT AMENDING AND REVISING THE PERSONNEL SYSTEM ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1, AND (C) ORDINANCE NO. 4, AN ORDINANCE OF THE LIVERMORE AREA RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT AMENDING AND REVISING THE PERSONNEL SYSTEM ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE NO. 2.

The Board of Directors for the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District ordains as follows:

Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby repeals Ordinance No. 1, an Ordinance of the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District Establishing a Personnel System, adopted and approved on May 12, 1964.

Section 2. The Board of Directors hereby repeals Ordinance No. 2, an Ordinance of the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District Amending and Revising the Personnel System Established by Ordinance No. 1, adopted and approved on September 11, 1974.

Section 3. The Board of Directors hereby repeals Ordinance No. 4, an Ordinance of the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District Amending and Revising the Personnel System Established by Ordinance No. 2, adopted and approved on March 14, 1990.

Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect on March 14, 2025, and a summary hereof shall be published at least once in a daily newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the Livermore area, and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
