LARPD Preschool (Fall 2025)
2025-26 Preschool Information
LARPD provides part-time, play-based, child-centered preschool programs for children ages two (2) to five (5) years of age. Our play-based programs reflect the integration of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, language, and self-help areas for the development of the whole child. Meaningful play encourages curiosity, discovery, and problem-solving, allowing individual growth and development.
This year, registration will be completely online using Brightwheel.
Fall Preschool Registration begins on March 17th at 9:00 AM.
How to Enroll for Fall Preschool:
1️⃣ LOGIN OR CREATE BRIGHTWHEEL ACCOUNT - To access the pre-registration form, click link to login or create a Brightwheel account, if you don’t already have one. (Link will be available Monday, March 17)
2️⃣COMPLETE PRE-REGISTRATION FORM - Fill out and submit the pre-registration form with your top two site choices.
3️⃣CONFIRMATION - LARPD staff will notify you by email of your child's placement.
4️⃣PAY DEPOSIT - Pay $50 deposit within 48 hours to secure your spot. You may pay within Brightwheel app (processing fee applies) or in person at the Youth Services Office at 71 Trevarno Road.

Our part-time preschool programs focus on play-based learning. Parents are encouraged to volunteer to assist in the classroom.
Early Explorers - Parent Participation (Ages 2-3)
Formerly Mommy and Me
Where your child can learn the routines of a preschool with the comfort of a parent or guardian. Parents enjoy being with their child as they experience circle time, music and movement, art, and outside play. Pack a nut-free, healthy snack. Class time is 2 hours per day, one or two day per week options.

3-Year-Old Class (3 years old by September 1)
Through active exploration in the classroom and outdoors, preschoolers will develop competencies in decision-making, reasoning, problem-solving, and social skills. Activities will encourage hands-on learning through self-discovery and interaction with others. A well-rounded curriculum that balances indoor and outdoor activities will include identifying shapes, primary colors, letter recognition, and numbers. Pack a healthy nut-free snack each day. Class time is 2.5 hours per day (3 hours beginning in January), 3 days per week.
Children must be able to use the restroom independently.
*Class time will increase by an additional 30 minutes in January with a tuition increase to $300.

3 & 4 Year-Old Combo Class (4 years old by December 1)
While engaged in thoughtful, age-appropriate play, children gain kindergarten readiness skills. They will learn to engage in relationships, problem-solve, practice conflict resolution, expand language skills, understand limits, and spark creativity. Children will participate in a variety of daily activities that include circle time, arts and crafts, music and movement, science, and outdoor activities.
Children must be able to use the restroom independently.
Class time is 3 hours per day, 3 days per week. Location is determined during the registration.
