Provide meaningful volunteer opportunities that enhance our parks and programs, foster community engagement, and cultivate a skilled future workforce

The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District is actively seeking volunteers to assist with our programs, services, and community special events.

 Volunteer Application Process 

New LARPD Volunteers

New Volunteers Application and Sign Up Process

1.  Create an account by submitting the General Volunteer Application Form. Please use a personal email you have access to. Our system is unable to use school emails for communication.

2. Volunteers who are under 18 years of age require parent/guardian consent. Please ensure to have a parent/guardian sign the online Youth Volunteer Waiver document on the application. 

  • Volunteers must be age 13+  unless approved in advance by the event supervisor. 

3. Once you have submitted an application, you may log in to your LARPD volunteer account on MyImpactpage.com. You can also download our phone app through this LINK.

4. Select the [Opportunities tab] and sign up for a Volunteer opportunity by clicking the [+ Sign Up] or [Signup for Selected] button (App).

Note on current Better Impact volunteers

If you already have a Better Impact account/profile with a different organization you can use the same account/profile to sign in and then fill out the LARPD Volunteer application.

  • Please complete your online application form by entering your existing username and password on the right, under the heading “I already have a username”.
  • When you volunteer with multiple organizations (via one Better Impact username), you will see all of the organizations you volunteer with and the associated volunteer news on the main dashboard on MyImpactPage, listed in alphabetical order.
  • You will have the option to select the organization when searching for opportunities in the "Organization" dropdown.

Current Volunteers Sign Up Process 

1. Log in to your LARPD account on MyImpactpage.com . You can also download our phone app through this LINK.

2. Select the [Opportunities tab] and sign up for a Volunteer opportunity by clicking the [+ Sign Up] or [Signup for Selected] button (App).

or select an opportunity from the list above and choose a volunteer task link. This will take you directly to My Impact to sign up. Use the Log in link in the [I would like to volunteer] box to sign in.
