Adaptive recreation classes are intended for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Parent & Me Social Stars (ages 3-5)

LARPD Adaptive/Inclusion Staff 

A fun, play-based recreation class for children ages 3–5 that promotes social growth through group games, creative movement, and cooperative activities. Children practice sharing, communication, and teamwork while engaging in hands-on, structured play with their peers in a supportive setting.

• Parents or caregivers' participation is required.   

Sensory Socials (ages 5-10)

LARPD Adaptive/Inclusion Staff 

Let’s play, explore, and connect—sensory style! Sensory Socials is a fun and welcoming class for kids ages 6–10 who are sensory-sensitive, including children with autism or other developmental differences.

Each week, we blend guided group activities with open-ended sensory play, giving kids the chance to move, touch, create, and discover in ways that feel just right for them. It’s all about making friends, building confidence, and having fun in a space that celebrates every child’s unique way of experiencing the world! 

Friday Socials (ages 11-17)

Friday Socials offer a chance to socialize with friendly people over board games, cards, activities, and movies in a cozy and welcoming environment! 

• Check out our fun themes that feature a special activity and snack.
• Caregivers enter for free, and advance registration is required for participants. 

Adult Friday Night Socials (ages 18+)
