LARPD's main district office is at the Robert Livermore Community Center located at 4444 East Ave. Livermore, CA 94550.
The Community Center Hours:
- Monday: 8:30 am - 6 pm
- Tuesday: 8:30 am - 6 pm
- Wednesday: 8:30 am - 6 pm
- Thursday: 8:30 am - 6 pm
- Friday: 8:30 am - 5 pm
Building hours are subject to change based on programming needs (e.g. opening at 8:30 a.m. during summer programs).
It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps Livermore park and recreation activities. Visit the Foundation page for information on donating.
Livermore Area Recreation and Park District is an independent special district that is governed by a five-person, elected Board of Directors, each of whom serves a four-year term. Livermore Area Recreation and Park District is not part of the City of Livermore.
The District covers more than 240 square miles, serving more than 115,000 people, and maintains more than 40 parks including dog parks, picnic areas, basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds, sports fields, a BMX course, a skate park and a bicycle stunt course.

The Board of Directors meets at 5:00 pm on the second and last Wednesday of each month inside the Sycamore Room at the Robert Livermore Community Center, 4444 East Ave. Meeting are open to the public.

No, LARPD is an independent special district and was created by the vote of the public in 1947. It has its own five-person Board of Directors that is elected by the citizens.
Activity Guides are all 100% online at www.larpd.org/guide. They come out three times a year: late December (Winter/Spring Classes), late March (Summer Camps and Classes), and August (Fall Classes).
You can register for a class at www.larpd.org/guide or by calling 925-373-5700.
If you must cancel your registration, we require notification at least 7 business days before the first meeting of the class.
There is a $12 service charge for canceling. Any cancellation received less than 7 days before the start date will not receive a refund.

If you want to become a class instructor, please contact info@larpd.org, and you'll be directed to the appropriate program supervisor.
Yes, we have scholarships for our Youth and Senior programs. Information and application can be found at www.larpd.org/scholarship.
Our Café at the Robert Livermore Aquatic Center is open during the summer for recreational swim and on the weekends for special events the rest of the year.

Only service dogs are allowed in our facilities. Check out the seven dog parks managed by LARPD at www.larpd.org/dog-parks.
Please call 925-373-5700 and we can process your information over the phone and mail your pass. Our Sycamore Grove parking pass is not valid at Del Valle Regional Park.
You can find out more information about Camp Shelly at www.larpd.org/camp-shelly-at-lake-tahoe. Camp Shelly is located in South Lake Tahoe and is open from mid-June thru Labor Day weekend.

The gymnasium is open during scheduled hours for classes, rentals, and drop-in programs. We do not currently have open gym hours.

If after attending the first day of your class or camp, you are not completely satisfied, please let us know within 24 hours after the first day of class and we will issue a refund (less $12), provided you attended the first class and were dissatisfied.
We are not liable for a participant who fails to attend class.
