Livermore, CA - The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD) is currently renovating the gymnasium floors at the Robert Livermore Community Center, with the project expected to be completed by the end of the year. This initiative marks the 20th anniversary of the center by upgrading a key facility used for various sports and events.

Fred Haldeman, Parks and Facilities Manager at LARPD commented on the renovation, "The work being done on the gym floors is essential for extending their lifespan and ensuring they continue to serve the community’s recreational needs effectively."

The renovation includes sanding, resealing, and restriping the existing gym floors used for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball. This work will maintain the gym’s capacity for diverse recreational use. The project also tackles water damage repairs to improve the facility’s longevity.
