PARK HISTORY

Marlin A. Pound Park was named after Marlin A. Pound, who served on the Board for 32 years (1968-2000). The park was designated in 1975 and dedicated as North Livermore Neighborhood Park in 1980. The park has seen various improvements, including new amenities such as a play area, shade structure, basketball court, paths, landscaping, and irrigation completed in 1992. The park is owned by the City and operated by LARPD.

This 9-acre neighborhood park includes a tot lot, barbecue, picnic tables, basketball courts, hiking/bicycle trails, sports fields, and a dog park.

The dog park is located on the west side of Bluebell Drive, between Buckskin and Shetland Roads. It features separate areas for large and small dogs.
