We are also offering an alternate version of the Brushy Peak hike that does not include the final ascent to the peak, reducing the milage to around 2 miles, elevation gain to around 200 feet, as well as ending an hour earlier. This hike will still explore all the incredible rock formations and cover the same topics. 

Participants must stay with the group. Under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Canceled if raining. Trip ending timing is an estimation – depends on hiking speed of group and how much exciting stuff we stop to check out! Carpooling encouraged. Meet at the bigger community center parking lot next to the community garden at 491 Loyola Way.
