Pee Wee Explorers: Art & Science Adventures 

LARPD Staff 

Are you looking for an enrichment activity that keeps your kids engaged and moving? Join us for our Pee Wee Explorers class! Coach Carlie and our LARPD Staff will lead a four-week session of the class, which includes artistic creations, building with LEGOs, and science experiments! This class is a great opportunity for children to learn about art and science, make friends, and practice fine motor skills.

Wee Hoops Dribblers

Help your child experience the sheer joy of throwing and making baskets in this parent-participation class. It combines the thrill of basketball with other activities such as catching bubbles, parachute games, and singing. The class focuses on developing gross motor skills.

• Participants are required to have a size three ball.

Wee Hoops Jump Shooters 

Wee Hoops Staff

Children will develop physical skills such as balancing on one foot and hopping. The class introduces basketball skills based on increased coordination. At this level, parents are encouraged to take a supportive role with lots of high-fives and praise from the sidelines.

• Participants are required to have a size three ball.

Pee Wee Basketball Practice & Play (Parent & Me)

Join Coach Carlie and the LARPD Sports Staff for Pee Wee Basketball Practice & Play, where participants will learn the fundamentals of basketball in a supportive and fun environment! Along with learning basketball skills, participants will spend time with their parent/guardian as they work together to score baskets in scrimmages and drills!

• Participation of one parent/guardian is required.

5-Year-Old Basketball Stars

Join us for the LARPD 5-Year-Old Basketball Stars program, where your child will learn the fundamentals of the game in a supportive and fun environment! Along with learning basketball skills, participants will get real game experience through scrimmages and drills that focus on understanding the game of basketball. This program will prepare participants to play in basketball leagues while reinforcing the importance of teamwork, cooperation, and hard work.

• No class on 4/4. 

Pee Wee Baseball Stars

Join us for our Pee Wee Baseball Stars Class!

Coach Carlie and our Sports Staff will teach your kids the fundamentals of baseball, including how to throw, catch, hit, and field a baseball! We will also incorporate traditional camp games to keep your kids engaged and moving! 

Pee Wee Creative Movement Dance

This class is an introduction to movement and rhythm with an emphasis on beginning dance skills in ballet and jazz as well as basic tap fundamentals. Dancers will develop increased coordination while learning spatial awareness, listening skills, group socialization and class etiquette. Toddler tap shoes and ballet shoes are required and are not provided in class. Dancers will perform a choreographed routine at the Community Center on March 10th. Livermore Ballet School

April Wagner received her training with Contra Costa Ballet. She received scholarships to Joffrey Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Pennsylvania Ballet, among others. She spent three consecutive summers with the School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center in NYC and has taught ballet for 19 years.

Pee Wee Kids Night Out!

Hey, parents, are you looking for a night out to see a movie, catch up with friends, or have dinner out? Does your little one want to enjoy big kid activities? Look no further. We will provide a fun night of age-appropriate activities, crafts, and silly games. Best of all, pizza dinner is included!

Pick up at your convenience between 8:30 and 9 pm.

Kidz Love Soccer - Mommy/Daddy & Me

The fun happens on the field, so don’t just watch from the sidelines. Here is your chance to join in your toddler's introduction to the world's most popular sport. You’ll participate in fun, age-appropriate activities and help your child develop motor and socialization skills.  A variety of soccer activities are played each week.

• Adult participation is required.

Kidz Love Soccer - Tot Soccer

Chase the ball! Tot-Soccer helps kids learn to be part of a structured group activity without a parent by their side. Realizing this can be difficult for young children, our field-tested, age-specific curriculum builds confidence and promotes physical development in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

Tot Soccer focuses on helping kids develop their large motor skills through skill demonstrations and entertaining games like Bugs in the House! These games build skill and self-esteem and prepare tots to start running and kicking - just like the big kids!

All participants receive a Kidz Love Soccer jersey! Tot-Soccer classes are 30 minutes long and meet once a week.

Enjoy running and kicking, just like the big kids! Have fun and learn the basic soccer techniques while building self-esteem and learning to follow instructions in a nurturing teaching environment. Due to the current accommodations, the focus will be more on skills and individual development.

• Shin guards are required after the first meeting.
• All participants receive a Kidz Love Soccer jersey!

Kidz Love Soccer- Tot/Pre Soccer (Spring Session)

Little tykes will love running and kicking just like the big kids! Children will have fun and learn the basic techniques of the game while building self-esteem. Children will learn to follow instructions in a nurturing age-appropriate environment. 

• All participants receive a Kidz Love Soccer jersey.
• Shin guards are not provided, participants must bring shin guards after the first meeting. 

LARPD Pee Wee Soccer League - Parent & Me

LARPD is excited to offer a recreational Soccer League for our Pee Wee soccer stars! The season runs from 3/16-5/4 on Sundays. This recreational league is open to players of all skill levels who are 2 or 3 years old.

This league meets from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., depending on the week. Practices will take place before the game.

Parent participation is required for this league. One parent/guardian will participate in practices and games with their child.

• Players will receive jerseys and meet their team on 3/16, and games will begin on 3/23. 
• Jerseys are included with registration fees. Jerseys will be ordered by 2/19. If you register later than 2/19, your jersey may be delayed.  
• Shin guards are optional for this league.  
• No games on 4/20

LARPD Pee Wee Soccer League

LARPD is excited to offer a recreational Soccer League for our 4-and-5-year-old soccer stars! The season runs from 3/16-5/4 on Sundays. This recreational league is open to players of all skill levels who are 4 or 5 years old.

Depending on the week, it will meet from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Practices will take place before the game.

• Players will receive jerseys and meet their coaches and team on 3/16, and games will begin on 3/23.
• Jerseys are included with registration fees. Jerseys will be ordered by 2/19. If you register later than 2/19, your jersey may be delayed.  
• Shin guards are mandatory to play (shin guards are not provided).  
• No games on 4/20

Volunteer Coaches are needed to run this program. If you are a parent and are interested in coaching, please contact Carlie Spruiell at cspruiell@larpd.org or (925) 373-5746. Volunteer coaches will receive a 20% discount on team fees for their child at the completion of the season.

Join us for our Pee Wee Soccer Stars Class! Coach Carlie and our Sports Staff will teach participants the basics of soccer, including dribbling, passing, and shooting goals! We will also incorporate traditional camp games to keep your kids engaged and moving!

Pee Wee Spring Break Camp

Join us for lots of fun at Pee Wee Spring Break Camp!

During camp, participants will play engaging camp games, play sports, and create spring-themed craft projects! Please remember to pack water, snacks, and extra clothes if desired

• Must be able to use the restroom independently. 
• This is an indoor drop-off program; parents will check participants in/out each day. 

Tiny Tots Tennis

Arora Tennis

Class is designed to excite and engage younger tennis players and focuses on introductory strokes/hand eye coordination drills by using a variety of games and drills. This class uses RED color balls.

• All beginner players age 4-5 are to START in this level.
• Graduation to the next level (Tiny Rockets) is by instructor approval only.
• Must bring your own tennis racket, size 23 inches suggested.
• Classes are held at The Club at Livermore (2000 Arroyo Rd) OR Robert Livermore Community Center (RLCC, 4444 East Avenue). Club membership is not required to register.

Pee Wee Track Stars

Join us for the LARPD Pee Wee Track Stars Class! Coach Carlie and the LARPD Sports Staff will lead a variety of track activities with participants, including how to run short and long distances, run relay races, do hurdles, and more! We will incorporate traditional camp games to keep your kids engaged and moving!
